Re-Engineering Infrastructure for a National Printing Company

How LANIX rebuilt the technology foundation supporting more than 80 employees and nationwide operations.

Client Challenge

The company’s infrastructure was no longer keeping pace with the demands of a national printing operation. Slow systems, recurring faults and inefficient workflows disrupted artwork, production, accounts and delivery teams. Despite significant internal IT investment, ticket queues regularly reached around 50 open requests and average resolution times exceeded two hours.

LANIX Solution

LANIX interviewed teams across sales, artwork, printing and accounts, then assessed the servers, network, storage, cloud services and working processes supporting them. Rather than repairing issues one by one, LANIX re-engineered the infrastructure as one coordinated platform designed to improve performance while reducing unnecessary complexity and cost.

Project Delivery

Core systems were rationalised, removing redundant platforms and long-standing faults. Servers, network equipment, storage and cloud resources were right-sized to real production workloads, underperforming components were reinforced and bottlenecks removed, and automated alerts with live operational dashboards were introduced to help teams prevent issues and coordinate production and delivery.

Why LANIX?

LANIX looked beyond individual tickets to the whole technology foundation, combining input from every department with a full infrastructure assessment. The result was a simpler, more resilient platform and greater staff confidence in the systems they rely on every day.
