More than just licences
Most businesses are paying for Microsoft 365 but only using a fraction of what it can do — and without the right setup, it can leave you exposed. LANIX takes it off your hands: security, backup, compliance, licences and calling, all looked after properly so your team can just get on with work. We are London-based and support businesses across the UK.
Sign-in protection, device rules and email security set up deliberately — not left on the defaults nobody ever checked.
Email, files, SharePoint and Teams backed up separately, with restores we have actually tested rather than hoped would work.
We review your licences regularly, cut the waste, and switch on the things you are already paying for.
A stolen password stops being a company-wide emergency, and you can answer a client’s security questions without guessing.
Deleted mailboxes, wiped folders and ransomware become a call to us rather than a very bad week.
Licences match your actual headcount and needs, and the features you already pay for finally get switched on.
No more chasing Microsoft or a chain of suppliers — one number to call, clear response times, and regular reviews.
Businesses in London and across the UK use LANIX to deploy Microsoft 365 properly, clean up licensing and get their people genuinely using Teams, SharePoint and Copilot.
“LANIX went through every licence we were paying for and found we were funding seats for people who left years ago. The saving covered the whole project.”
“Files used to live on three different drives and in email. Everything is in Teams and SharePoint now and staff actually use it, because LANIX trained them properly.”
“We wanted Copilot but had no idea whether our tenant was ready. LANIX tidied up permissions and data first, so when we switched it on it just worked.”
We handle the day-to-day: email, files, SharePoint, Teams, new starters, leavers and licences — so nothing is left half-finished or quietly costing you money.
Multi-factor sign-in, sensible device rules and email protection, monitored so a compromised password does not turn into a company-wide problem.
Separate backup for email, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams — with restores we test, so a deleted mailbox or ransomware attack is an inconvenience, not a crisis.
Retention, data-loss rules and audit trails set up to support UK data protection expectations, clients’ security questionnaires and your own policies.
Business calling inside Teams — your existing numbers, call queues and out-of-hours routing — so clients reach the right person from any location.
Copilot readiness, custom agents and the permissions tidy-up first, so AI helps your team instead of surfacing files people should never see.
All of it comes with UK-based support, straight advice and clear response times — for businesses in London and anywhere else in the UK.
You already pay for Microsoft 365 — we make sure it is properly looked after, that it becomes your phone system, and that AI works for you safely. And if your business still relies on traditional phone lines, Openreach is switching off ISDN and PSTN across the UK, so Teams Phone is the modern replacement.
We take the day-to-day off your plate — licences, sign-ins, email, SharePoint, OneDrive, laptops and user support — so nothing is left half-done and your team stops losing time to small IT problems.
ISDN and PSTN lines are being withdrawn across the UK, so old phone systems are on borrowed time. We move you onto Teams Phone or cloud calling, keep your numbers, and get calls routing to the right people.

AI is only useful if it can see the right data and not the wrong data. We get Copilot ready, tidy up who can access what, then build agents that answer questions and take the repetitive work off your team.
Tell us your team size and what they do — we'll build the session around it.

Microsoft gives you the tools, not the setup. Buying licences does not configure your security, protect your data or tidy up who can see what — that part is left to you. Most businesses without a dedicated IT team end up with a setup nobody owns, which is exactly where the risk and the wasted spend build up.
Start with who actually still works there. Most businesses are paying for leavers, duplicate licences, and premium plans on users who only need email. We review your licences against your real headcount and usage, drop what is not needed, and often find the features you wanted to buy are already included in what you pay for.
Basic support waits for something to break and then fixes it. A managed service looks after the things that stop it breaking — security settings, backups, licences, updates and the changes Microsoft keeps making. One is a plumber you call when the ceiling leaks; the other checks the pipes.
Microsoft 365 can be very secure, but not out of the box. Left on default settings it typically has weak sign-in protection, over-shared files and no separate backup. The platform is capable — the protection depends entirely on how it has been configured, which is the work most businesses have never had done.
Yes, and this catches a lot of businesses out. Microsoft protects its service, not your content. Deleted items only sit in the recycle bin for a limited time, and after that they are gone for good. A proper third-party backup keeps independent copies of email, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams so you can go back weeks or months, not days.
It takes layers: multi-factor sign-in so stolen passwords are useless, email filtering to stop the attachment arriving, device rules so infected laptops cannot sync damage into SharePoint, and immutable backups an attacker cannot delete. Just as important is knowing your restore works — we test it rather than assume it.
At a minimum: multi-factor authentication for everyone including senior staff, blocking legacy sign-in methods, restricting who can share files externally, limiting admin accounts, email protection against impersonation, alerts for suspicious sign-ins, and a separate backup. None of these are expensive — they are simply configuration most businesses never got round to.
Yes, once calling is properly added and configured. Teams on its own only calls other Teams users; with a calling plan it handles external calls, call queues, an auto attendant, out-of-hours routing and voicemail. Whether it feels like a real phone system comes down to the configuration, which is the part we do.
You keep them. We port your existing numbers over, so your clients carry on ringing the number they already have. Porting is planned in advance and timed to avoid a gap in service, and your old system stays live until the new one is proven.
The traditional UK phone network is being retired, so ISDN and analogue business lines are being withdrawn and cannot be relied on long term. If your phone system, alarm line, lift line or card machine still runs over an old line, it has to move to an internet-based service. We identify everything that depends on those lines and move it before it becomes urgent.
No pressure and no jargon — just an honest conversation about what you have and whether it is doing its job. We meet remotely or on site, in London or anywhere in the UK. Here’s what we’ll cover:
