Move without downtime
An office move should be an exciting milestone, not a week of IT chaos. LANIX takes full responsibility for your technology — from the last wire in your old office to the first successful call in your new one — so you never have to manage the chaos yourself. We support businesses throughout the UK, from a single department shift to a complete multi-site relocation, at any scale.
We shut down, move, reinstall and test everything over the move weekend so your team sits down on Monday morning and gets straight to work.
We coordinate landlords, cabling teams, ISPs and fit-out companies so you have one number to call — and someone who actually owns the outcome.
Every move follows the same battle-tested process. Every system is installed, configured and signed off before we hand back the keys.
Whether you’re moving a single department, expanding onto another floor, or relocating your entire business, LANIX plans, manages, relocates and recommissions your technology with minimal disruption.

A relocation rarely happens on its own. These are the services London businesses most often combine with a move — before, during and after the day itself.
New site build‑out, comms room design, cabling, connectivity and cloud migration so the destination is ready before a single box is moved.
Move or modernise your phone system alongside the relocation — Teams Phone, number porting, call flows and meeting rooms, with no missed calls on day one.
Ongoing support, monitoring and user helpdesk once you are settled in — so the new environment stays stable long after the move completes.
As early as possible — ideally before you sign the lease. Even if you’re only viewing potential offices, the earlier we’re involved, the more value we can add, helping you avoid costly surprises before they become expensive commitments.
Business-grade fibre can take weeks or months to deliver depending on network availability, infrastructure and the provider. We order and track connectivity early so it is never the reason your move slips.
Yes. We coordinate directly with landlords, fit-out companies, cabling teams and other contractors to manage dependencies, building access and approvals throughout the project.
Most moves are delivered over a weekend or out of hours. Systems are shut down, transported, reinstalled, configured and tested so your business is operational before your doors reopen.
No. We support single-department moves, floor expansions and complete business relocations across the UK, using the same planned process at any scale.
We are. We order and actively track business-grade connectivity as one of the first tasks in any relocation project, because ISP lead times are the most common reason moves get delayed. We manage delivery, chase escalations and have contingency plans in place so that a connectivity delay never catches your business off guard.
Yes, and it is often simpler. Most modern businesses have shifted to cloud-first infrastructure, and our relocation process is built around that reality. We make sure your connectivity, networking, Wi-Fi and user devices are all configured and tested at the new site — and that Microsoft 365, cloud applications and VPN access all work correctly from day one.
We check infrastructure requirements as part of our initial site survey, long before move day. If cabling is inadequate, we commission structured cabling works through our approved contractors and manage that as part of the project — so it is resolved before it can delay anything else.
Yes. Ensuring every user can log in, access their files and connect to business applications on day one is part of our standard scope. We configure and test accounts, devices, printers and shared systems at the new site before we hand the space back to you.
Yes. We are headquartered in London but support businesses across the UK. Most of the planning and coordination is handled remotely, with our engineers on-site for the move weekend wherever your new office is located. Geography does not change our process or our commitment to a day-one-ready outcome.
Even if you’re only viewing potential offices, the earlier LANIX is involved, the more value we can add — helping you avoid costly surprises before they become expensive commitments.
